WHAT EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES OFFERS

One-on-One Tutoring
One-on-One Tutoring in subject areas for students K-12, college students and adults. The student's text, tests and notes are the basis for curriculum.
Educational Resources offers two proven reading and language skills programs that enable students with learning difficulties or struggles to make dramatic improvements in reading and language skills by training and strengthening their core cognitive skils - skills required for effective learning. These programs have been tested, piloted and refined for more than a decade.
"Specialized Instruction in Reading/Processing Skills"
Psychoeducational Assessment offers a blueprint of the strengths and struggles of a student's cognitive learning processes. Analysis of verbal and thinking capabilities, memory function, auditory and visual processing as well as processing speed offers essential information that explains how a student learns. Achievement scores are included in this assessment so that discrepant functioning between aptitude and achievement can be pinpointed and definitive. Results are discussed with parents and a school conference may be held if desired. The written report provides an outline for remediation or enrichment.
Reading, Writing, and Math Assessments
An individually administered evaluation that pinpoints grade level achievement in core subjects.
